The Internet Is Letting Irv Gotti HAVE IT Since He Continues To Drag Ashanti, Says She ‘Ran Like A Cockroach’ After 2005 Arrest

Chile, Irv Gotti is STILL dragging Ashanti through the mud in interviews and the Internet is letting him have it! He’s clearly still BIG MAD she didn’t stick around after he was arrested by the feds. Deets on his latest interview about the singer inside…

Irv Gotti STILL has Ashanti on the brain and continues to mention her in interviews causing the Internet to collectively tell him to STFU! At this point, its giving obsession.

After sharing Ashanti penned her hit “Happy” after they allegedly had intercourse, the Murder Inc. honcho doubled down on his comments during a new interview with Page Six. The 52-year-old is adamant he’s not bitter over his alleged breakup with his former artist. Mind you, at the time he was married to Debbie Lorenzo.

“F *c k no,” he told Page Six.

While he claims he’s not upset about their alleged past relationship, he is still BIG MAD that she decided to cut ties with him after he was arrested by the feds. He claims he felt betrayed by the “Foolish” singer when he was wrongfully accused of using Murder Inc. Records to launder for notorious Queens crack and heroin kingpin Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff of the legendary Supreme Team.

In 2005, the FBI raided Murder Inc. headquarters and later arrested Irv, claiming “that the Murder Inc. empire took in garbage bags and shoe boxes stuffed with drug money and laundered it for a notorious Queens crack and heroin kingpin.”

Irv was accused of laundering $1 million for McGriff, but he was exonerated.

“When the feds hit, she ran like the cockroaches when you turn the lights on,” Irv said about Ashanti. “She was ready to get the f *ck off of the Murder Inc. label and she was ready to abandon me, the person who made her. And yes I can say I made her. How do you know I can say that firmly? The minute I stop making her records . . . She has not made a hit since.”

A cockroach? Really, Irv? AUDACITY!

It’s interesting because there are legit photographs of Ashanti arriving to court for Irv’s first trial date in November 2005. And she didn’t have to show up because she was busy filming John Tucker Must Die in Canada. So, she STILL came out to show this man support (when she didn’t have to) and he’s STILL dragging her through the mud? This man is HURT.

After cutting ties with Murder Inc., Ashanti signed a contract with Def Jam and launched her acting career. After her alleged “situationship” with Irv, Ashanti went on to date rapper Nelly between 2003 – 2014.

A fan site created a Twitter thread detailing how Irv sabotaged Ashanti’s career:

Folks on social media are going IN on Irv Gotti for attacking unproblematic Ashanti:

Rapper Fat Joe came to Ashanti’s defense a few days ago. Irv responded to Joe, claiming their relationship is now non-existent. During a recent radio interview on Houston’s 97.9 The Box, Irv said he’s no longer friends with the NYC rapper.

“I feel like [Fat Joe] fooled me. He’s not my friend. I was fooled, but in life you get fooled,” Irv told the hosts, before one of his team members seemingly tries to steer away from the topic. “Forget Joe ’cause they don’t want me to talk about Joe,. So I won’t talk about Joe, I’ll talk about life. And In life, everyone goes through friends. People who you thought were your friends—I’m not talking about Joe. Let me talk. In life, I’ve had countless friends come and go, but, you know what remains consistent and why I get through all of this? My family, ’cause I don’t really need friends … I’m more than content going home and spending time with my mom. Like, I’m a weird dude like that.”

If bitter was a person…

Ja Rule also clapped back at Fat Joe. Read his response HERE

Ashanti hasn’t addressed the drama.
