Beyoncé’s Renaissance Dances To No. 1 Spot On Billboard, Drops Ron Isley ‘Make Me Say It Again, Girl’ Snippet

Beyoncé’s Renaissance album just earned the singer her seventh No. 1 album. Fresh off the release of her chart-topping album, Mrs. Carter is teaming up with Ron Isley for a remake of “Make Me Say It Again Girl (Part 1 & 2).” All the musical deets inside…

Another one!

Beyoncé gave us something totally new we could dance to under a disco ball and forget all of our issues. Renaissance vogue’d its way to the top of the charts, marking her 7th No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Renaissance – Bey’s seventh solo studio album – earned 2022’s biggest week by a woman and second-largest week of the year overall with 332,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Aug. 4th, according to Luminate (via Billboard).

Of course, she set new records, something she often does. Renaissance is the first album released by a woman in 2022 to top the Billboard 200. The last woman to top the charts was Adele with her 30 album, which ruled for its first six weeks on the list (charts dated Dec. 4, 2021 – Jan. 8, 2022).

Also, Bey’s “Break My Soul” jumped to the No. 1 spot, climbing up from No. 6, on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. “Break My Soul” – which debuted at No. 15 six weeks earlier – marks the global superstar’s eighth solo leader on the list.

She’s “THAT GIRL” indeed.

Not only is she THAT girl, she remains HUMBLE.

Bey hopped on social media to thank the BEYHive for their four decades of support.

Yesss!

Fresh off landing the top spot on the charts, Bey has a new track with Ronald Isley and The Isley Brothers. And we’re already here for it.

The Grammy Award winner teamed up with the legendary R&B group for a remake of “Make Me Say It Again Girl (Part 1 & 2),” which is a track off the group’s 1975 album The Heat Is On.

Good news. It’ll be available for streaming this Friday (August 12th).

The official Instagram account for The Isley Brothers shared a snippet that you can listen to below:

“You read that right! Catch the WORLD PREMIERE of what we’ve been working on starting at 10am est and every hour on the hour over on your favorite @iheartradio station,” the account captioned the snippet.

The epic collaboration was first announced in June. The new track will appear on The Isley Brothers’ forthcoming album.

Lawn! Bey is not PLAYING with this music. She already confirmed Renaissance will be a trilogy, so we have two more acts on the way.
