Beyoncé set the Internet on fire when she hopped on IG Stories with a Renaissance tracklist! Turns out, Drake is credited as a writer on one song and folks are amused. More inside….
We’re exactly one week away from Beyoncé snatches our edges and wigs when she drops her seventh studio album, ACT 1: Renaissance. The BEYHive is anxiously awaiting the dance album that will bring back the legendary Studio 54 disco era to our ears.
To further build up the anticipation, Bey released the tracklist for the upcoming LP, which features the titles of 16 brand new songs, including her first single “Break My Soul,” on her IG Stories. She doesn’t do IG Stories often, but when she does, the Hive is grateful.
Along with the song titles, a list of composer credits were also revealed, apparently by Apple Music.
— Sample credits incl. Donna Summer, Giorgio Moroder, James Brown, Teena Marie, Twinkie Clark, Kilo Ali, Moi Renee.
— More composer credits incl. The Neptunes, BloodPop®, Rami Yacoub, A. G. Cook, Ari Pensmith, LilJuMadeDaBeat, Nova Wav, P2J, Boi-1da, Sevn Thomas, Leven Kali. https://t.co/7v3qTtDiUD

The credited composers include her husband Jay-Z, Drake, The Dream, Pharrell Williams, Skrillex, 070 Shake, and more. Folks were amused Drizzy was “in the room” for Bey’s album and then dropped his own dance-heavy album a month before Mrs. Carter’s drop.

Last week, behind-the-scenes videos of Big Freedia on the set of “Break My Soul” leaked. Check it out HERE.
Renaissance is Beyoncé’s seventh studio album and is the follow-up to 2016’s triple-platinum LEMONADE. The first single “Break My Soul” debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Turns out it put her in the company of musical icons Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney as the only artists with 20 top 10 Billboard Hot 100 singles as a solo artist and 10 as a member of a group.
Renaissance drops Friday, July 29th. Y’all ready?!
