The BEYHive is crossing their fingers, hoping Beyoncé doesn’t decide to scrap the concept for her “Break My Soul” video after clips of Big Freedia allegedly filming scenes for the video treatment leaked online. See the behind-the-scenes video, plus Bey’s first TikTok inside…
Leading up to the release of Beyoncé’s seventh studio album, Renaissance, subtle deets about what the global superstar has in store have slowly trickled in. At this point, we have an official first single, “Break My Soul” and Mrs. Carter’s uber gorgeous cover and spread for British VOGUE July 2022 – both indications of a dance-heavy album.
As fans patiently await the arrival of Bey’s new album (set to drop July 29th), a video of what appears to be Big Freedia – who is featured on the new single – filming scenes for the “Break My Soul” video in New Orleans has emerged.
Word on the curb is that Bey and her crew have been shooting scenes for the video in NOLA and Los Angeles. It’s rumored director Dikayl Rimmasch will direct the music video. He served as the cinematographer for Bey’s Homecoming film on Netflix and he directed Black Is King, her Tiffany & Co. ad and more.

Knowing how secretive Bey is when it comes to roll outs, fans are worried she’ll scrap the entire concept due to the clip leaking online.
”Delete before we never get this sh*t,” someone wrote. “Chile delete this rn she not gon put it out,” someone else responded. She better not be trolling us.
Some fans were shocked and confused that the video for “Break My Soul” hadn’t already been filmed.
”So damn…she didn’t shoot the album movie already? Lord idk what she up to then f*ck lmfao,” someone wrote on Instagram.
She loves to keep her fans guessing.
Speaking of surprises…
