After slaying the stage at the 2022 BET Awards, Chlöe Bailey received approval from the one person that matters, her mentor Beyonce Knowles Carter. See how the Queen congratulated her for her performance inside…
Chlöe Bailey said she had a “surprise” for the 2022 BET Awards and she did NOT disappoint.
The fiery entertainer put on a SHOW as she often does when she performs. We love when the gworls put in work and serve to the masses, being the all around supreme beings that they are. Chick flipped her bops and served up some Adina Howard “Freak Like Me” vibes as she nailed her vocals and remixed arrangements.
While we were blown away by her performance, so was someone else: Chlöe’s mentor/Parkwood Entertainment boss.
Beyonce gave Chlöe her stamp of approval by sending her a bouquet of flowers following her BET Awards performance.
Attached to the white roses was a handwritten letter that read, “You killed it last night! Making me proud. All my love. B”

Right after her performance….
The 23-year-old entertainer – who turns 24th on July 1st – jetted back to Atlanta to continue filming her new movie, Praise This, produced by Will Packer and directed by Tina Gordon (LITTLE) for Universal Pictures.
Deadline has the deets:
Praise This is a music-competition feature comedy set in the world of youth choirs. We hear that Universal is eyeing it for a potential franchise in the vein of Pitch Perfect, with production on the first installment set to kick off in Atlanta in June. Gordon penned the latest draft of the script, which was based off an original idea by The Story Company. Earlier drafts were written by Camilla Blackett (Little, New Girl) and Brandon Broussard, Hudson Obayuwana and Jana Savage—the trio otherwise known as Murder Ink.
The new role brings us back to the time Beyonce starred in Fighting Temptations, which Chloe starred in as a child actress. She’s not new to the acting game, most recently starring in “Grown-ish” alongside her sister Halle Bailey.
Next, the “Have Mercy” singer will star in Miramax’s supernatural thriller The Georgetown Project, with Russell Crowe and Ryan Simpkins.
Here for it all!
