BET AWARDS 2022: Jazmine Sullivan WINS Best Female R&B-Pop Artist, Asks Men ‘Who Benefitted From A Woman Terminating A Pregnancy’ To SPEAK UP For Women’s Rights

Jazmine Sullivan just reminded us all why she deserves ALL the things. She took the audience to church during her BET Awards acceptance speech, speaking specifically to the men and challenging them to stand with women in the fight for women’s rights.  Watch inside.

Jazmine Sullivan DESERVES.  The “Pick Up Your Feelings” singer just won the 2022 BET Award for Best Female R&B-Pop Artist!  While her ridiculous talent is more than enough reason for her to deserve every single award, her way with words is what gets us every time.

The Philly queen bravely used her acceptance speech time to challenge men to stand with women in the fight for women’s rights that were stripped away on Friday with the overturning of Roe v. Wade.  She specifically asked men who benefited from a woman terminating a pregnancy to speak up and stand up.

“I want to speak directly to the men.  We need y’all.  We need y’all to stand up for us.  Stand up with us.

If you ever benefited from a woman making one of the toughest decisions of her life, which is to terminate a pregnancy.  You need to be standing with us.  This is not just a woman’s issue.  This is everybody’s issue.  We need your support more than ever.  Y’all got us? Because we got y’all.”

SAY. THAT. ISH. JAZ.

Congrats to this fabulous queen on her big win!
