Donald Trump Jr. has Tested Positive for COVID-19

Donald Trump Jr. has now tested positive for Coronavirus adding to the list of several people within the Trump administration and family in recent months to test positive.

What We Know:

  • Trump Jr., Donald Trump’s eldest son, tested positive earlier this week.  A spokesman close to the situation stated, “Don tested positive at the start of the week and has been quarantining out at his cabin since the result. He’s been completely asymptomatic so far and is following all medically recommended COVID-19 guidelines.”
  • Trump Jr.’s girlfriend tested positive over the summer as the two were campaigning for Trump ahead of the election.  She is not said to be impacted by Trump Jr.’s recent positive test.
  • Coronavirus in recent weeks has had an uptick in daily cases, reaching over 100,000 new cases per day since November 4th.  The United States remains number one in the world with almost 12 million cases and over 250,000 deaths.  State and local officials have begun increasing restrictions as medical experts and scientists release recommendations to limit or avoid traveling for the holidays.
