Mariah Carey is set to premiere her Christmas Special this holiday season.
What We Know:
- Its been twenty-five years since the release of Carey’s best-selling holiday anthem, “All I Want for Christmas Is You“. The holiday special will fall on the song’s 25th anniversary.
- Carey announced “Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special” on Twitter.

- The special will be available on AppleTV. AppleTV described it as an “innovative special” that “will combine music, dancing, and animation driven by a universally heartwarming story that brings the world together”.
- Alongside Carey, the special will feature Tiffany Haddish, Billy Eichner, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, Misty Copeland, The Peanuts Gang, and Mykal-Michelle Harris.
- Carey adds her name as an executive producer on the project. She is one of six executive producers on the project. Ian Stewart, Raj Kapoor, and Ashley Edens are all credited as executive producers. Done and Dusted will be producing the special, other credits include the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and the Emmy Awards. The program will be directed by Hamish Hamilton and Roman Coppola.
The feature is set to premiere on December 4th on Apple TV. Additionally to the special, Carey will release a new single, “Oh Santa,” on the same day. The track will feature Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson.
