Despite having her third child just last month, Win Harrison Wilson, that’s not stopping Ciara from continuing her work. She recently announced that is she is already signed for her part as a host on a brand new radio show on Apple Music.
What We Know:
- The singer took to Instagram on Tuesday to make an announcement post featuring a fiery new trailer to her millions of followers. It expressed not only how excited she was to add a beautiful new member to the family, but also the start of another chapter in her successful career as an artist.
- It’s possible the idea for this new show spawned from Ciara and her husband, NFL quarterback star Russell Wilson, after announcing that they would be launching their own production company for “television, film and digital content,” back in 2019.
- Her post read, “I’m incredibly proud to share that I have my own radio show with @AppleMusic!” she wrote in a caption accompanied by an animated visual teaser. “#LevelUpRadio on Apple Music Hits! Come hang with ya girl! P.s. Another cool moment that was created during my pregnancy 😎 #LevelUp”
- Level Up Radio isn’t the only project Apple has in store for many music fans. Ciara is just one of several other artists that will reportedly have their own radio shows for fans to enjoy. Some of the other celebrities include Snoop Dogg and Young M.A., who have also snatched up some deals to produce their own radio shows on Apple Music, according to The Shade Room.
- Also on Tuesday, Apple Music announced that all these new shows will be highly accessible to subscribers and will be available to listeners in nearly 165 countries. After five years from launching, the Beats 1 Radio station will now be rebranded as Apple Music 1 and two other stations will be added to the music streaming service, Apple Music Hits, and Apple Music Country.
- The premise of Ciara’s new radio show will essentially “celebrate the definitive songs and sounds of modern R&B and share stories of her experience as an entrepreneur, mother, philanthropist, and an unstoppable entertainment force”.
Ciara and her husband, NFL quarterback star Russell Wilson, gave their followers the news several months back about the pregnancy and later welcomed Win Wilson last month. The Wilson family has now grown to a grand total of five. Win joins their daughter Sierra and son Future, from the rapper of the same name.
