Frank Ocean’s younger brother, Ryan Breaux, and close friend Ezekial “Zeek” Bishop have passed away in a tragic car accident early Sunday morning.
What We Know:
- 18-year-old Ryan Breaux and 20-year-old Zeek Bishop were both pronounced dead at the scene early Sunday morning (Aug. 2) by Ventura Valley Fire Department. The accident occurred near Thousand Oaks, California on Westlake Boulevard.
- The single vehicle collision happened at approximately 1:30 a.m, when the passengers crashed into a tree engulfing the car in fire. According to Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputies, “the force of the crash caused the car to rip in half,” leaving deputies to find the vehicle in flames.
- Westlake Boulevard has remained closed in order to investigate more regarding the cause of the fatal crash.
- Neither family of Ryan Breaux nor Zeek Bishop have spoken out yet about the tragic deaths. However, friends close to both individuals continue to mourn on social media along with memorials at the scene of the crime.
Ryan Breaux and Zeek Bishop were both evidently loved greatly by their respective families and communities; the whole world will continue to share in their sadness.
