The host of The Daily Show Trevor Noah decided to contiue paying his crew through the coronavirus pandemic.

- Trevor Noah has stepped up in a big way to help those impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
- Noah, who is the host of a late-night talk show ,has gone above and beyond to help the crew members of his show that have been furloughed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
- Studio production of the program has been suspended since last month.
- Currently, The Daily Show is shooting remotely and Noah made the decisision to peronally pay the salaries of 25 crew members who can’t contribute to the remote version of the show.
- “These are the people who have been on the show with Trevor from day one and help him put on the show. Trevor is…covering their salaries until the production business opens again” a source told the Trade.
- Noah was the first to get his Emmy Award-winining show virtually on the air fromm his Manhattan apartment.
- For now, the show is temporarily called The Daily Social Distancing Show with Trevor Noah and will be 45 minutes instead of its normal half hour advised the network on Monday.
Other talk show hosts such as, James Corden, have also decided to pay their furloughed crew members during the pandemic. Corden is paying for the salaries of 60 production employees at The Late Late Show after the network said they would only cover up to eight weeks of salary.
