Legendary Atlanta radio personality and the PA voice of the Atlanta Falcons and Hawks, Ryan Cameron, is in the intensive care unit of a local hospital after suffering a heart attack, his colleagues at MAJIC 107.5 have shared.
What We Know:
- Early Easter morning of April 12, 2020, ESPN’s Elle Duncan, a former colleague of Cameron’s, asked for prayers after Cameron underwent “surgery earlier this week”.

- The 54-year-old father of four required surgery earlier in the week of April 4-11, 2020, but his current diagnosis and prognosis was not divulged to the media as he recovers.
- Cameron has worked at three stations in Atlanta over the past 30 years: V-103, Hot 97.5/107.9, and currently Majic 107.5/97.5 as an afternoon host.
- Along the way, Cameron has picked up two Emmy Awards, been honored with two Macaroni Award nominations and inducted into the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame.

- Atlanta based rapper Killer Mike posted on his Instagram page “Praying for u Radio OG and ATLANTA cornerstone. We love u Ryan.” The rapper added “I sincerely pray the Universe shows us favor and heals u. We need u. U are our voice. A true leader. Love and light from one Westside kid to another.”
