Tyler Perry stepped in to help the community of Atlanta once again.
What We Know:
- The movie mogul left a $500 tip for every single out-of-work server at Houston’s restaurant on Northside Parkway on Sunday. This was a grand total of $21,000.
- Perry is known for his acts of charity around the city, but also around the world. Last year, he paid for a murder victim’s funeral expenses, her daughter’s college expenses at Spelman and made sure her family wasn’t evicted. Police said Tynesha Evans’ boyfriend killed her at a bank in North Fulton County in March of 2019.
According to TMZ, Perry is a big fan of the restaurant and has been driving over to pick up to-go food from the restaurant frequently.
