A Bronx McDonald’s worker wasn’t lovin’ it when an irate customer tried to climb through the drive-thru window – so she smashed a coffee pot filled with hot water over the man’s head, police said Friday.

- Police responded to a 911 call late Thursday night at a McDonald’s, where they found a man in his 30s with a deep cut on his neck, the New York Police Department told NBC News on Friday.
- The McDonald’s worker, Emonie Reed (24) was working inside the McDonald’s when a man came up to the drive-thru window at about 11:20pm and began arguing with her and then spit on her she told police. Reed said she then grabbed a coffee pot and struck him with it.
- The shattered glass cut the man’s neck, sending him to St. Barnabas Hospital where he remains in stable condition with serious injuries.
- Reed was arrested at the restaurant and was charged Friday with two counts of assault, reckless endangerment, and criminal possession of a weapon.
Reed’s arraignment at Bronx Criminal Court was pending Friday. It is unclear if Reed has a lawyer.
