After four years, singer/songwriter Ne-Yo and Crystal Smith have decided to end their marriage.
What We Know :
- The couple got married back in February 2016.
- The couple share two sons, Roman Smith who was born back in 2018 and Shaffer Smith who was born in 2016. Ne-Yo also shares two children with ex-girlfriend Monyetta Shaw.
- On a podcast called “Private talk with Alexis Texas”, Ne-yo confirmed that he and his wife have decided to call it quits.
- The singer stated, “It’s slowly but surely becoming public knowledge that myself and my wife have decided to go ahead and get a divorce”.
- Ne-Yo also added that he will never talk bad about Crystal, because she is not only “a fantastic woman, but the mother of his children”.
- Earlier in the month, the singer was seen dancing along to his new song “Pinky Ring” singing “She gave back the wedding ring, I turned it to a pinky ring”.
- Crystal posted to Instagram afterwards asking her friend in the video “Are you going to be my date for Valentines day?”
On February 8th, The Jasmine Brand leaked information received from an inside source saying Ne-Yo and Crystal have been having problems for some time and she has decided to proceed with a divorce.
