Kim Kardashian West has found herself on the wrong side of a lawsuit after she shared a candid photo of herself and husband Kanye West on her Instagram.
What We Know:
- A photographer by the name of Saeed Bolden claims he shot the photo that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality star posted to her Instagram. Bolden allegedly owns the copyright to the photo and says Kim posted without his permission.
- The photo was captioned “We got love,” and shows Kim gazing up at rapper husband, Kanye West. It is believed to be have taken during a listening party for Nas’ Nasir album.

- Bolden says that the experience has been “willful, intentional, and purposeful, in disregard of indifference” to his rights, and that as a direct and proximate cause of the infringement of his copyright and exclusive rights under copyright, he is entitled to damages and any profits made off of the post.
- Though it was never posted on the SKIMS profile, TMZ noted that Bolden is also suing SKIMS, Kim’s shape-wear line, alleging that the two profiles are linked.
A rep for the star declined to comment on the lawsuit that was filed in a New York federal court on Wednesday.
