A top publicist named Tayo Otiti denied Fabian Basabe, who appeared on E!’s Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive, from attending an Art Basel festival, and in return, he called her a “N****r B***h”.
What We Know:
- Otiti told the publication that the room had reached its capacity, and people had to leave in order for others to get in.
- Otiti said Basabe tried to pull strings to get in, but instead he ended up upsetting people. “When he’s leaving, he starts screaming at the top of his lungs, ‘peasant,’ ‘whore,’ ‘b*tch’ at me… When he’s 50 yards away, he screams, ‘F–k you [N-word] b*tch,’” she said. The publicist also took to Instagram to share her frustrations over the incident. I was just called a [N-word] peasant bitch and a whore by Fabian Basabe, the flaming piece of s–t racist garbage.”
- After the incident, Basabe reached out to Page Six to deny the allegations, and he said: “there aren’t two sides to this.” He went on to say that he contacted a museum board member to help him get into the party. “I called my friend… I was dancing with everybody — the waitresses, the bartenders. I don’t mean to be full of myself, [but] people genuinely love me.” He said he would apologize for the incident.
He later noted that he is not racist and that he has famous friends that are black. “I just had in my home, Cuba Gooding Jr…. praying with my kid! I just had George Foreman in my home just this past week… It’s truly unfair.”
