Forbes has released its ninth annual “30 Under 30” list for the Class of 2020.
What We Know:
- The Forbes “30 Under 30” list is made up of 30 honorees for each of the 20 categories including art and style, energy, finance, tech, law, and more. Forbes collaborated with expert judges in each category to narrow down its entrepreneur list. Over 15,000 online submissions were sent in.
- Chief Content Officer of Forbes Randall Lane said in a statement: “Every year we are more and more inspired by the growing number of young people who have made it their mission to change the world through innovation, entrepreneurialism, and drive, and this year’s class is no exception. The Forbes “30 Under 30” list has become the preeminent recognition for the most up-and-coming visionaries, game changers and pioneers the world has to offer and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish next.”
- Forbes is releasing five magazine covers highlighting some of the accomplished executives and business-savvy celebrities. The five different covers feature Kevin Durant, Canva CEO Melanie Perkins, Guild Education CEO Co-founder Rachel Carlson, music duo The Chainsmokers, and rapper 21 Savage.
- The list also included top-charting music artists such as Megan Thee Stallion, Da Baby, Summer Walker, Tierra Whack, Teyana Taylor, Tyler The Creator, Normani, Lil Nas X and Chloe and Halle Bailey. Acting duo actors Dylan and Cole Sprouse even made the list.
