In Pleasantville, New Jersey, a high school football game was postponed Friday after a shooting occurred.

- The shooting was at a football game between the Pleasantville Greyhounds and the Camden Panthers. The incident left Micah Tennant, a 10-year-old boy critically injured and a 15-year-old with wounds. The intended target of the shooting was also seriously wounded, according to CBS.
- Unfortunately, Tennant did not survive his injuries and many mourned his loss. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy said in a statement “No child deserves to have their promising life cut short, especially by indiscriminate and senseless gun violence. No parent deserves to bury their child.”
- The game resumed later that week at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The NFL Philadelphia Eagles offered to host the game. It was played at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, according to ABC.
- Action News found the men and they are currently facing charges for the shooting. One of them is Alvin Wyatt who is facing three counts of attempted murder. These men will most likely have a detention hearing Thursday.
Pleasantville Police Chief Sean Riggin choose not to respond to reports that the shooting was an act of “vigilante”.
