- Among the three men, James Holzhauer is the most recent winner of Jeopardy who walked away with $2,464,216 after 33 consecutive days on the show, which was also record breaking.
- “The Greatest of All Time Tournament” will begin January 7, 2020 at 8 PM EST. Unlike the typical schedule of Jeopardy, there will be two back-to-back games, which makes for double the fun! The game will continue on until one contestant wins three games total earning him a prize of $1 million. The remaining men will each receive $250,000.
- Although Alex Trebek is battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer, he is quite excited to watch the men compete against each other. “It’s going to be a blast we’re all excited about it,” he said.
- Twitter users are referring to the tournament with #JeopardyGoat. Based on a Twitter poll shared by one user, more than half of Jeopardy fans on Twitter believe James Holzhauer will win the tournament and take home $1 million.
May the best man win!
