Trump Tweets He’s In ‘Very Good’ Health After Unscheduled Visit To Walter Reed Hospital

President Trump went through an unexpected physical at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

What We Know:

  • Trump said the reason for the visit was due to expectations of a “very busy 2020”. The trip to the center was not on his schedule. White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham told Fox that Trump went because it was a down day and he had some time. She has denied that the President had any health issues, according to CNN.
  • After about two hours, Trump returned back to the White House. The White House will not release the results of the President’s health until he completes all aspects of his annual physical.
  • At February’s physical exam, Trump weighed 243 pounds, four pounds more than the previous year’s exam. He increased his daily dose of Rosuvastatin, a medication used to treat high cholesterol. His blood pressure was measured as 118/80.

The Center usually prepares for the President when he comes but they had very little time to prepare for this quick arrival.
