In upstate New York, Lloyd, a taco truck company was forced to apologize for serving ICE workers.

- The truck parked at the Buffalo Federal Detention Center in Batavia where they served ICE workers on their lunch breaks. Due to this, Lloyd received tweets from customers vowing to never eat tacos there again, according to CNN.
- The company said there was “no excuse” for serving people who have a certain viewpoint. Lloyd co-founder Pete Cimino said their intention was never political. They then received criticism from the other side, questioning why they had to apologize for just doing business.

- ICE Buffalo Field Office Director Thomas Feeley lashed out calling it discrimination. He asked why is a food truck apologizing for serving customers? “The men and women who work at the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility are detention officers, deportation officers, administrative support staff, doctors, nurses, judges, attorneys, and maintenance staff. Each and every one of them is entrusted with the safety, security, and care of the detainees here.”
Climo advised that “we just want to serve tacos, this is not a political thing by any means”.
