Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are expecting a child through surrogacy.
What We Know:
- The married couple both have daughters from previous relationships Kandi has a daughter named Riley who is 16-years-old and Todd’s daughter Kaela is 22. They also share a 3-year old son, Ace.
- They have been open about their experience in choosing alternative options to have a child. Kandi spent much of the last season of RHOA trying to convince Todd that they should go through with surrogacy. After meeting with her OBGYN Dr. Jackie Walters from the show ‘Married to Medicine’ her husband agreed.
- She also spoke out about her health issues stating, “Unfortunately, you know, I’ve had a lot of issues with fibroids, and I’ve had multiple surgeries. And plus, I have scar tissue from having so many different surgeries. So with that being said, we do have two embryos left, and because I had a high-risk pregnancy and all these other factors, we came to the conclusion that their best chance of making it would be to get a surrogate.”
- The star is not the only one who is expecting a child, Eva Marcille, another RHOA cast member, is currently eight months pregnant with her third child, a boy named Maverick.
The couple will be documenting the surrogacy on the upcoming season 12 of the show premiering November 3.
