GiGi Hadid stops an unidentified woman who decided to crash the Chanel runway.
What We Know:
- On Tuesday, October 1, an unknown woman somehow sneaked on to the Chanel runway during one of their Paris fashion week shows. While wearing a black and white Chanel-like tweed suit from top to bottom, the woman ran from her seat and joined the models as they walked.
- With celebrities such as rapper Cardi B, K-pop star Jennie and French actress Isabelle Adjani in the audience, security was extremely tight but, that didn’t stop the unnamed woman from making it to the runway. As the models began to pose on the rooftop setting, that is where model GiGi Hadid stepped in.
- Hadid began to notice that the woman looked unfamiliar and when she saw how the anonymous woman began to upstage the models, there was an immediate face-off before Hadid politely began to escort the smiling woman offstage.
- “I couldn’t stop laughing because the hapless security guards couldn’t spot her in the line-up,” stated Elizabeth Paton, a New York Times reporter. It is believed that the incognito woman may have been the same woman that crashed another runway show by lingerie brand Elam, last week.
