Blac Youngsta Arrested for Felony Weapon Charge during Traffic Stop

Blac Youngsta was arrested for a felony weapon charge after a traffic stop in Houston, Texas.

What We Know:

  • Memphis rapper Blac Youngsta was arrested Wednesday night after police officers pulled over a car with him and three other passengers. The rapper was riding in the passenger seat when police pulled the car over for not stopping at a red light. 
  • Police reported that they smelled marijuana then proceeded to search the car where they found marijuana, as well as 2 fully loaded semi-automatic pistols inside a Louis Vuitton bag,  claimed by Blac Youngsta. 
  • The rapper was charged with felony possession of a prohibited weapon specifically possession of armor-piercing ammunition. He was being held in Harris County Jail in Houston.
  • The rapper’s lawyer Carl Moore put out a statement saying “I have not been provided any evidence that suggests that Mr. Benson possessed a prohibited weapon. We plan to fight these allegations vigorously in court and expect that once the facts come out, Mr. Benson will be exonerated.”

Blac Youngsta was released from custody after posting $2,500 bond.
