RHOA’s Peter Thomas’ Sports Bar Shut Down, Owes $237K in Back Taxes

Peter Thomas from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” now owes the IRS $237k in back taxes.

What We Know:

  • According to the federal government, Thomas was issued a tax lien for $237k resulting in him having to close his sports bar. His sports bar, Peter’s Sports One Bar and Lounge, in Charlotte, North Carolina did not have enough money to stay afloat after his team committed funds to several other business ventures.
  • This is not his first run-in with money problems. In March, the reality star spent a night in jail in Miami after a pending warrant for check fraud for a $4,000 check that bounced. The star eventually cleared his name and paid off the debt.
  • His ex-wife from the show, Cynthia Bailey, has moved on and recently became engaged to sportscaster Mike Hill.
  • His sports bar will be shut down for the next 3 to 6 months until the bar’s legal team can clear everything up and pay the debt.

With all this money trouble, Thomas will definitely have to make some cutbacks and focus on the reality of this situation.
