The full trailer for Disney‘s ‘Frozen 2’ has been released and it is amping up its fans.
What We Know:
- The original movie, Frozen, hit the big screen in 2013. The movie did so well it brought in $1.27 billion worldwide. The sequel will be directed by Academy Award-winning directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck again.
- This new trailer includes all of the fan favorites such as Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven. The group is on an adventure beyond Arendelle to protect their kingdom from an evil threat and to discover more about Elsa’s magical powers. They discover the enchanted forest which is full of unknown mysteries and secrets.
- Disney originally released the first ‘Frozen 2’ trailer in February and an additional one in June, both received backlash for being dark, thunderous, and warlike. However, all of the trailers display the detailed textured landscapes of the film including forests, seas, rivers, and mountains.
- The voice cast will mostly remain the same with Kristen Bell (Anna), Idina Menzel (Elsa), Josh Gad (Olaf) and Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) all returning. However, “This Is Us” star Sterling K. Brown and “West World” actress Evan Rachel Wood will be joining the cast.
Fans will have to wait and see how the action-packed adventure turns out in U.S. theaters November 2, 2019.
