16-year-old Khaseen Morris was fatally stabbed over a girl in an Oceanside strip mall, according to Newsday.
What We Know:
- The fight was with other teens, about 50 to 70 teens were watching the altercation from afar and recorded the stabbing on Snapchat instead of helping the wounded high schooler. He was unarmed during the attack. He didn’t want to fight but wasn’t going to run.
- He was stabbed once in the chest and died just before midnight on Monday. He would have turned 17 next month.

- The fight happened due to Morris receiving a text from another teen that talked about fighting him over a girl that people perceived Morris to be dating.
- Morris’ friend was also sent to the hospital with swelling to the head and a broken arm.
Police are currently searching for 6-7 possible suspects to the crime, no weapons have been recovered.
