Comedy sketch show “Saturday Night Live” has added comedians Chloe Fineman, Shane Gillis and Bowen Yang to their cast for the upcoming 45th season.
What We Know:
- Yang will be the only Asian American series regular. He was previously part of the writing staff last season and even appeared as North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during the Sandra Oh episode in March.
-
Fineman has gotten recognition for her work with improv company, The Groundlings, (a noted “SNL” training ground) as well as her impressions that she posts on her social channels.
- Gillis has gained popularity for his work on the Comedy Central Radio show, “The Bonfire”, as well as starring as a “New Face” (aka new talent) at Montreal’s Just for Laughs Festival.
- The 45th season of the show premieres September 28 with Woody Harrelson as the host and Billie Eilish performing as the musical guest.
We cannot wait to see the new season! Will you be tuning in?
