Per Adam Gase: Sam Darnold has mono and will miss Monday’s game against the Browns, and perhaps more.pic.twitter.com/FPlcYoibws

- There may be a slight chance Darnold will also be out for week 3 against the reigning Super Bowl Champions the New England Patriots. Adam Gase, the Jets head coach, stated “I don’t want to put predictions on anything.”
- The Jets and Gase knew something was going wrong with Darnold when he lost five pounds in only a few days, according to the Washington Post.
- Trevor Siemian will be the QB for this 0-1 team. His last start was in 2017 when he was with the Broncos.
- Running back Le’Veon Bell also had a sore shoulder which caused him to not practice Thursday. He did have a MRI which confirmed he was fine and can compete in Monday’s game.
I got great news, my shoulder is fine so no worries…just had to make sure everything was ready to go for Monday night 🖤🙌🏾 lets get it

If Trevor Siemian can prove the doubters wrong, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel for this new Jets team coming into the 2019 season.
