It was announced Thursday that former White House press secretary Sarah Sanders is coming to Fox News.
What We Know:
- Sanders, who left the White House in June, will make her first appearance with a live studio audience episode of “Fox & Friends” on September 6.
- She has signed on as a contributor to the network and will also provide political commentary across Fox News’ on-air and digital properties. In her own statement, she stated that she was “beyond proud” to join the network.
- Her and the Trump Administration have had a more than rocky relationship with the press. Under her tenure, the White House effectively eliminated the daily briefing with the press.
- After revealing that she provided reporters with baseless information about the firing of former FBI Director James Comey when interviewed by former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigators, it is unsure if she can truly be trusted.
This is going to be interesting.
