Titled “Just Wendy“, the Lifetime biopic will showcase the life of daytime TV star and (meme favorite for her haters) Wendy Williams.
What We Know:
- According to TMZ, Williams’ upcoming TV movie will start in her teens and go all the way to current day, and touch on many intimate topics including, the fat-shaming she experienced as a child from her family, her addiction to coke, and a date rape she endured at the hands of a rapper she never spoke about.
- Williams is reportedly not shying away from her marriage to Kevin Hunter and all the trials she endured throughout their union (and their very public divorce).
- The production will be led by Will Packer and the actors to star in the film are currently unknown. She shared with TMZ that she wants unknown actors to star in the biopic so that they don’t overshadow the message. The TV movie will also feature a younger and older Wendy, and Williams will not depict either characters.
