Mia Love Won’t Admit Trump’s Tweets Were Racist

Congresswoman Mia Love didn’t come to the defense of African Americans as President Donald Trump told certain progressive Congresswomen of color on Twitter that they should “go back” to where they came from.

What We Know:

  • On Sunday, President Donald Trump took it upon himself to make a statement on Twitter of the four Congresswomen of color. Trump tweeted, “Congresswomen of color should go back to where they came from.”
  • “Democrats quickly jumped on the racist tweets while mainstream media reported the comments as racially charged instead of call it was it is,” according to Newsone.
  • The Republicans didn’t comment on the offensive tweet until Monday morning when former Utah Representative Mia Love (who is black) went on national television to express how she doubted that Trump is racist.
  • During the interview, Love was called out on her stating that she just didn’t like the word racist, instead of agreeing with the world on how he is racist.

Twitter went into flames about Trump’s comments. We later came to realization that Love was weighing another run for congress in Utah and 88 precent of her voters are white. It all makes sense.
