Korey Wise of the “Central Park Five” has gotten a new place looking over the area that caused his life to change forever.
What We Know:
- First reported by The New York Post, he “purchased a $925,000, 803-square-foot condo in Harlem that overlooks Central Park, complete with a washer/dryer, oversized windows, and an open kitchen.”
- This is just one of the blessings he has been presented since his unjust 14-year sentence. He has been working with the non-profit organization the Innocence Project, and was awarded the Man of Vision Award in March from the National Action Network.
- Wise and the other “Central Park Five” have been gaining publicity with the release of the Netflix hit series “When They See Us.” In 2014, they reached a settlement for the wrongful convictions they received for the 1989 rape and beating of 28-year-old Trisha Meili.
- Out of the $41 million dollars awarded, Wise received $12.2 million.
Wishing him nothing but the best!
