Big Freedia teams up with Ben & Jerrys for ‘Booty Bouncing Beignets’ ice cream

Ben & Jerry’s announced a new partnership with the ‘Queen of Bounce’, Big Freedia, that will kick off on July 6.

What We Know:

• In a press release, the company explained that the partnership will benefit several non-profits in New Orleans. “100% of the proceeds will benefit No Kid Hungry LA, Liberty’s Kitchen, and Upturn Arts,” the statement said.
• A post the singer made earlier this year expressing the desire to work with the company is what led to the partnership. Talk about ask and you shall receive!

• The event will be hosted at the Republic Nola and fans will not only get free ice cream but also get a first listen of Big Freedia’s new song, “Chasing Rainbows.”

The announcement didn’t state specifically whether fans will be sampling the new flavor but it would only be right. Tickets are just $5 and are available now!
