The second round of the Democratic debates is tonight at 9pm. It’s available to stream on NBC, MSNBC and Telemundo. Here are a few things to watch for in the 10 candidates:
-Marianne Williamson, John Hickenlooper, Andrew Yang, Pete Buttigieg, Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Kirsten Gillibrand, Michael Bennet and Eric Swalwell will square off tonight.
-Joe Biden, Pete Buttigieg, Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris are among the more well-known candidates squaring off tonight. The others will have to introduce their policies and opinions while they have the attention of the voters.
-Biden is the favorite for the Democratic nomination, so the pressure is on for him to perform.
-The candidates will likely be pressed about issues like immigration, climate change, women’s rights, guns and the economy like the first round of candidates were last night.
-Biden and Sanders are the most experienced on the debate stage. They are the only two candidates who have previously run for office.
We’ll see if the veterans come out on top tonight, or if the newcomers can shake things up.
