Drake Investigated For Sexual Assault in UK, Sues Woman For Extortion After Being Cleared

A woman by the name of Laquana Morris, aka Layla Lace filed a complaint accusing Drake of sexually assaulting her.

What We Know:

  • Laquana Morris, aka Layla Lace accused rapper/singer Drake of sexual assault on January 23, 2017 in Manchester, UK.
  • Morris wrote and signed a retainer agreement with her lawyer, Alexander Cabereiras, explaining that Drake forced her to perform oral sex on him. Drake privately paid a settlement of $350,000 after negotiating with Lace.
  • Morris said, “It wasn’t your ordinary oral, it was more so a fetish where he measured a cup and demanded that I spit in the cup until he had measured it. Afterwards, he dumped the spit on my face repeating, ‘I wanna see your face messy’.”
  • Drake was investigated by UK authorities and was eventually cleared of any criminal actions.
  • Drake is now suing Lace for civil extortion, intentional infliction of emotional distress, abuse of process, fraud and defamation, according to The Blast.
  • Afterwards, the lead investigator sent Lace an email explaining that the reason he wasn’t prosecuted is that he couldn’t secure a 100% conviction, according to The Blast.

Drake is targeting Lace for the issues she’s put him though, following the main issue of defamation of character.
