Zoe Kravitz Reveals Cause Of Eating Disorder

Zoe Kravitz’s eating disorder has became an traumatic lifetime issue starting from the age of 13 years old.

  • Kravitz recently revealed that she felt “alienated” as a teen. This is what contributed to her developing an eating disorder at the age 13. She stated that she felt out of place as a teen and struggled with low self-esteem. These feelings stemmed in part from being surrounded by affluent kids who didn’t like her,  Yahoo Lifestyle said.
  •  According to Yahoo Lifestyle, She also admitted that it was hard not to compare herself to her mother, actress Lisa Bonet, who starred in “The Cosby Show.”
  • “I think it came from a lot of things, my mother was so beautiful and so tiny, I always felt chunky around her, And then my dad was always surrounded by supermodels, I was short, and you feel uncomfortable in you own skin anyway at the age,” Kravitz said.
  • Zoe has had many acting roles such as, “Fantastics Beast, The Crimes of Grindelwald and even stars in the Emmy-winning series Big Little Lies to name a few.” But despite her talent she feel as though she is pressured as a woman of color in the public eye.
  • Kravitz recently shot a cover story of July’s issue “British Vogue” she was beautiful and the picture was perfect. Kravitz said, My parents were scared for me to go back down that road of drastic weight lost. “It was f**ked up, man. You could see my rib cage. I was just trying to lose more weight for the film but I couldn’t see, You’re there. Stop. It was scary.”
