Good Morning America confused Tiffany Haddish and Regina Hall during the Met Gala.
What We Know:
- The annual Met Gala took place on Tuesday night, where many stars gathered to conquer this years theme of “CAMP.” Social media and various news outlets, cover the event each year hosting interviews and posting the hottest outfits of the night. A reporter from Good Morning America interviewed Regina Hall, but when the interview aired the caption said Tiffany Haddish.
- Haddish was interviewed two people prior to Hall, which is what made the slip up so noticeable. Although a slight mistake, nothing gets past social media. People took to Twitter mentioning Good Morning America to assure them that this was not Tiffany Haddish, but “The one and only Regina Hall.” Neither of the actresses have spoken out about it, but it’s safe to assume they’re aware it was a mistake.
- The two ladies co-starred in the box office hit “Girls Trip” in 2017. Haddish is currently starring opposite Tracy Morgan in the TBS comedy, “The Last O.G.,” and will be featured in the upcoming movie, “The Secret Life of Pets 2.” Hall is starring opposite Don Cheadle in Showtimes “Black Monday,” and can be seen in the “Shaft” reboot coming out this summer.
Being that both the ladies are well known and good friends, it seems that Good Morning America just missed the name change while editing their package.
