Game of Thrones has a Scene Goof and Black Twitter swept in per usual

The latest episode of Game of Thrones was filled with the usual: blood, scheming, and dragons… and a side of Starbucks.

What We Know:

  • The popular HBO show made the mistake of leaving a Starbucks cup in plain sight during episode 4. The cup can be seen in front of Daenerys (Emilia Clark) during one of the episode’s opening scenes.
  • The cup was a surprising mistake for this massive show.  Just last week, GoT broke the record for the longest battle scene in television or film and now they are mistakenly leaving Starbucks in frame.
  • One of the show’s executive producers has confirmed it was a mistake and has apologized to fans for the slip-up. The episode has since been updated and the cup is no longer visible in the scene.
  • Many fans took to Twitter to joke about the mistake.

This episode gave Starbucks some free advertising and gave the viewers some much-needed comic relief.
