Tuesday marks the third anniversary of Beyoncé’s groundbreaking visual album ‘LEMONADE’ and the singer is now making it available to fans on all streaming platforms.
WHAT WE KNOW:
- Since released in 2016, ‘LEMONADE’ was exclusively available for streaming on TIDAL, a streaming service co-owned by Jay-Z.
- ‘LEMONADE’ sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide, making it the best-selling album of 2016. This will be the first time in her career that all of her records would be available for streaming on all platforms.
- The 65-minute audio version of the HBO film, features poetry from Warsan Shire and clips of Malcolm X speeches.
-
This visual album comes six days after the release of her highly-anticipated film ‘Homecoming,’ a recap of her 2018 Coachella performance, along with Homecoming: The Live Album, which features 38 of the singer’s hits.
Queen Bey never fails to give her Beyhive something to buzz about. Besides her debut this summer as Nala in the Lion King, there’s no telling what else she has up her sleeve. For now, fans can listen LEMONADE on Spotify or Apple Music like it’s their first time.
