Starbucks issues apology to arrested black men

Famed coffee maker Starbucks is under fire after video footage surfaced to corroborate the story of two black men that were arrested at a Philadelphia location for simply “meeting.” The coffee brand said

“We apologize to the two individuals and our customers for what took place at our Philadelphia store on Thursday.”

The brand responded to the controversy in a tweet posted on the official Starbucks account:
